If you are at all human, you probably have thought about this statement only to realize that it is not as easy to answer and understand. For some of us, this statement tends to morph into a question ,confirming that feeling of being absolutely lost. The pause that happens when we think of this statement turns into a blank space. If we are not careful that blank space becomes the mindset, belief, thought and lifestyle we manifest. There are also some of us, who can boldly say and finish this statement but with the wrong information or it is centered on what we want. Whether you are certain or uncertain what you are living for, it all comes down to our purpose and what God has called us to do to add to His KINGDOM . WE ALL HAVE A PURPOSE AND A REASON FOR LIVING.
Ephesians 1:11-12 says, “ It’s is Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.”
In order to fill in your blank, you must develop a relationship with the one who created you in the first place. If you didn’t already know the answer to that last riddle, IT IS THE ONE AND ONLY ALMIGHTY GOD! You may have well thought out plans regarding what you want to do and who you want to be, but only God can make that final determination. Seek to know God, if you don’t already. Also seek God’s direction and allow for him to fill in your blank with. I encourage you to make the choice today, blank space or seek God’ face.
