I was given a plank puzzle. The puzzle was comprised of several smaller pieces connected together. Now there was no image printed on the top of these pieces. This was so unusual to me. I had never- in-my-life seen a blank puzzle. I started thinking about the time I had put together puzzles in the past, with an image to refer to, which helped to successfully complete the full puzzle. Everyone loves a complete puzzle. There is a sense of relief, accomplishment and pride that happens when each piece connects perfectly with one another.
Here I was with this full and very blank puzzle… as my mind tossed and turned to figure out this difficult equation, it hit me! There is a deeper meaning at play here. God is the puzzlemaker. We are initially given a blank and clean slate because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We all have a unique purpose given by God. Your purpose is your journey in puzzle form. Each moment we are blessed to be here is a step closer to Gods plan being fulfilled. Every event of our lives is but a small piece to a bigger picture. The complete picture is only known fully by God. Every now and then, God gives us clues in small doses to the next piece of the puzzle. It’s up to us to have an awareness and connection to God to discern his path for us.
Lets be honest, Many times there are hiccups that cause us to lose sight of Gods dine purpose for us. Some of us have tried to force certain pieces to go together that don’t belong. Others have tried to create their own full image of how the puzzle should look when it’s done.( I’m guilty of this)Some of us have given up altogether trying to trust that it will make sense. A few of us have not even tried to attempt to take the pieces we have been given and put it together. The rest just accept that the puzzle is blank and will always be. No matter which you are, this truth remains: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV. More than half of the journey is truly believing this scripture above.
This is the whole reason why I creating this space is to be able to encourage and inspire others to let Christ fill in your blank. I know how it feels to be lost, hoping for more, questioning what your purpose is. I have tried and failed and tried and failed to do things on my own. It wasn’t until I let God be the one and only puzzle maker that I became free. I learned to trust his version of the image I get to participate in creating. “It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.” Ephesians 1:11-12 MSG .It will be the best decision you ever made.
Gods wants to take you to the next level. He has already given you a sneak peak at what he plans to do. God knows your blank and he knows how to fill in what's missing. Trust me, there will be more of that to come. More pieces to the puzzle of your abundant life coming soon. God needs a “YES “from you. Get ready for your mind to be absolutely BLOWN!!!!
